Run To Jesus
Hello, I bring you the message of HOPE!
I am excited you are reading this message, ‘Run to Jesus’. Have you considered how athletes run? Can you imagine the rate at which horses run? You need the same amount of energy to run to Jesus if you have not already done so! Jesus declared in Matthew 11:28 ‘Come to Me’ all you who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.‘
You will find rest for your soul if you run to Jesus. Understand that JESUS IS WILLING AND READY TO RECEIVE YOU. His willingness and readiness in receiving you is found in the phrase ‘Come to Me’.
If someone gives you an invitation to a party, dinner, some social gathering or activity, it means you have been accepted and are welcome, hence your invitation.
WHO MUST RUN TO JESUS?
You must run to Jesus. Are you burdened in life? Are you struggling with sin? Is your heart heavy with sorrow? Are you going through problems that give you sleepless nights? May be you are sick and tired, or disappointed in life. Are you weak or strong; rich or poor? Then, you must run to Jesus Christ. You need Jesus irrespective of your status in society and condition in life; good or bad!
It is a great advantage for the rich to seek God with their wealth, even as it is a great opportunity for the poor out of their poverty to be counted among God’s people.
No matter whom you are and what you are going through right now, be encouraged and do not give up – run to Jesus – for in Him you will find rest for your soul. It does not matter even if you are the archbishop; you still need to put your life in check and aligned with God’s word. It is popularly said that, ‘there will be surprises in Heaven!’
You may be a good Christian still struggling with secret sins; you need to go back to God; rise up and run to Jesus for restoration. The rich, the poor, the weak and the strong must all run to Jesus, because no matter how rich you may be, your wealth cannot buy life. No amount of money can be exchanged for salvation and eternal life. Your wealth cannot give you good health. Maintaining good health is a life style which both the poor and rich can, and need to practice. Guard your health, take very good care of yourself, and practice good hygiene because money cannot buy health. Practicing and maintaining good hygiene is like running to Jesus – it is something you do. Who you are cannot earn it, what you do will guarantee it! Running to Jesus is the requirement for receiving salvation, eternal life and rest for your soul. It is the escape from darkness to light, failure to success, and a life of defeat to victory.
If riches could buy life, the rich man in Luke 16:19-31 could have extended his life span by reason of his wealth. As for Lazarus the beggar, his poverty could not let death pass over him for mercy. They both died and found themselves in eternity, each receiving rewards for the things done in the body.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:10
Who is without trouble on earth? Everybody has a problem in one area of life or another. Job 14:1 says ‘Man who is born of woman is of few days and full of trouble.‘ It is only in the new heaven and new earth that man will be free perpetually from every evil, pain and sorrow. EVERYONE IS LOOKING FOR JESUS
After Jesus taught in the Synagogue and healed many that were sick and possessed by demons, He left to a lonely place and there He prayed. When the disciples searched and found Him, they said to Him, ‘everyone is looking for You’. Mark 1:37
A Woman, Guilty And Deserving Death Seeks Jesus; Mary Magdalene was caught in adultery and condemned by her accusers, who were ready to stone her to death; encountering Jesus, she was delivered from the accusation and condemnation to death. The Bible recounts seven demons were also driven out of Mary Magdalene. If Mary had not met Jesus, she would be possessed by demons and her accusers would complete their assignment of stoning her to death. Running to Jesus brings deliverance from Satanic and demonic oppressions as well as deliverance from the power of death. Mary Magdalene later became a follower of Jesus – today her name is mentioned among the great women in the Bible and history of Israel and Christianity. If you are in a situation deserving death sentence, Jesus is the solution. If you are in torment and possession of evil spirits, Jesus is the solution. There is not a problem He cannot solve. If He did it for Mary Magdalene, He will do it for you and everyone who runs to Him. Reference: John 8; Luke 8 – Read More
